Spill Cushions

Spill cushions have a high absorbent capacity for their size so are ideally suited for use with relatively large spills. Ideal for maintenance tasks on pipework where brief large spurts of liquids may occur. They are also ideal for placing in tight spaces or under persistent drips.

Description / Usage

Absorbent cushions are made from either melt-blown polypropylene or recycled coton fibres housed in a durable, rip-resistant polypropylene outer. Mostly supplied boxed, they can be conveniently placed around the workplace for immediate access and use. Most customers cut out a dispensing window in the box making access easier and quicker.

There is a spill cushion suitable for every type of liquid, which fit into three main spill types:
General Purpose & EVO spill cushions are suitable for solvents, oil & fuels, non-corrosive liquids, common fluids and water based fluids.
Oil & Fuel spill cushions are suitable for solvents, oil & fuels and some common fluids (will repel water based fluids).
Chemical spill cushions are suitable for chemicals, hazardous liquids, solvents, oil & fuels, common fluids and water based fluids.

Size / Absorbency

All of the spill cushions have varying degrees of absorbency depending on their type and size. All of the spill cushions supplied by Spillshop come in small, large and extra large sizes in all the three spill types. Pack sizes do vary.
