Oil & Fuel Land Boom – 20cm x 3M, Absorbs 280L

OBLE4 is our largest Oil & Fuel Land Boom and due to its hydrophobic properties it will repel water and absorb oil/diesel based spills with ease. Each OBLE4 boom is 3M in length and 20cm in diameter and has an absorbent capacity of 70 litres. Each OBLE4 boom has flexibility and strength enabling the user to mould the boom around any object. The OBLE4 booms are dense enough that once placed in position they should remain in place. OBLE4’s are poly-wrapped which means they stay clean and uncontaminated until needed, reducing both the cost of packaging and disposal. It should be noted that OBLE4 boom will repel water based fluids, if your requirement is for a boom that absorbs water based liquids then we would recommend taking a look at our General Purpose booms.

When sourcing products we look at ‘Sustainability’ as the Earths resources are a finite resource and any product that can use a recycled or reprocesed materail will be considered over one that is manufactured from raw materials.
The ‘Carbon Footprint’ of the product is also important, sourcing products from within the UK or the EU is desirable over products shipped in from across the world either by sea or air into our distribution hub.

For some products, particularly those that are kits made from many components, these principles may not be possible for the whole kit, but rest assured we will source as many components according to these principles within the kit as we possible can.
